Personal Strategic Planning

8- Follow through

Two cases of failure: when you do not start and when you do not finish. Whenever we have a new year’s resolution, most of us do not follow through. But we always long for that fresh start, or this new project, or that new job, or the new you. New beginnings are exciting and fill us with excitement and hope. Starting is hard so is finishing. Some people do not start because they cannot imagine crossing the finish line. Your vision alone is not enough to keep moving; you need a strong reason to follow through. Once you have your compelling reason, you will become obsessed with what is paramount in your life and what you want to be your world. This obsession will be the steam in your internal steam engine and the sharp focus and the strong willpower that will guide you to your goal.
